Steven is a Berkeley native. He earned a B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.Phil. in European and English History from the University of Oxford. While studying in England, Steven also worked as a theater producer. After returning to the United States, Steven earned a J.D. from UCLA, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the UCLA Pacific Basin Law Journal.

Steven is admitted to practice in California and all of the Federal courts in the state as well as the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Before joining Yaron & Douglas, Steven had his own practice in Burlingame. His areas of experience include insurance coverage, environmental, insurance defense, landlord-tenant and business litigation.

Steven lives in San Francisco. In his free time, he enjoys travel, reading, photography, cooking, and hiking.
