Luke Peters grew up on a farm in the state of Iowa. After graduating from the University of Iowa (B.A. political science, business and religious studies minors) he resided in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he attended the University of Minnesota Law School and received a J.D. cum laude with a concentration in environmental and energy law in 2013. Following a public service fellowship in New York he returned to Minneapolis, where he practiced in insurance defense and litigated a number of fraud-related cases, including several in the Minnesota Court of Appeals. After relocating to Northern California he joined Yaron & Douglas in June of 2022.

Luke is admitted to practice before all state courts in California, Minnesota and Washington state, as well as all federal courts in California, New Mexico and Colorado, and the Southern District of Texas.

Luke resides in the East Bay with his wife and daughter. His hobbies and interests include cycling, hiking, chess and Iowa Hawkeyes football.
