Hielam Chan
Hielam was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2004, he graduated from the University of California at Davis where he received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. Hielam earned his Juris Doctorate in May of 2009 from the UC Davis School of Law. During law school, he was a member of the Trial Practice Honors Board and the Moot Court Board. Hielam competed in several moot court competitions winning the 39th Annual Irving L. Neumiller Moot Court Competition and the Roger J. Traynor California Moot Court Competition where he received recognition for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Oral Argument.
Hielam joined Yaron & Associates in February 2010 where he practices tort litigation. Hielam is admitted to practice before all California state courts. He is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco and the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area.
Hielam’s interests include: playing sports, snowboarding, backpacking, mountain biking and traveling.
