Matthew A. Zavala

Matt grew up in Anaheim and moved south to attend San Diego State University. While at San Diego State, Matt was active in local politics, including working as a Deputy Campaign Manager for a special election in the City of Santee. Matt also spent a semester studying comparative politics at New College, in Oxford England. In 2006, Matt graduated from San Diego State University, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science and English.

After college, Matt enrolled at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and became quite active in the school community. He was invited to join the Moot Court Honor Society, where he later served on the Executive Board and also competed in two national competitions. While in law school, Matt clerked for the Honorable Jerald Bagley of the 11th Circuit, in Miami, Florida. In the Spring of 2009, Matt graduated with his J.D., and chose to pursue a career in litigation.

Matt joined Yaron & Associates in November of 2009 where he practices in the areas of insurance coverage, and toxic tort litigation. He is admitted to practice in all California state courts, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

Matt's passions and interests include: surfing, snowboarding, running, traveling, listening to good music, and politics.
