James I. Silverstein
James I. Silverstein grew up in Los Angeles and moved north to attend the University of California at Berkeley, graduating in 1985 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Geology. Jim attended Loyola Law School and graduated in 1989 in the top third of his class.
Jim initially practiced environmental law in Southern California and since 1993 he has focused his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Jim was a partner at the San Francisco law firm of Celebrezze & Wesley until he joined Yaron & Associates in August of 2000. He became a partner at Yaron & Associates in July of 2002.
He is admitted to practice before all the Federal and State Courts in the State of California and is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association.
Jim lives in San Francisco, with his wife Marie, and his hobbies include running, basketball, golf, skiing and rooting for the California Golden Bears.
